Wally Fleming
Rev. Dr. Walter Fleming retired, after 37 years, from full-time pastoral ministry in the fall of 2017. Since his retirement, he has continued to teach as an adjunct instructor at both Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary. He also regularly preaches at area churches. Wally grew up in a Free Methodist family. Two of his uncles (Rev. Jack Logan and Rev. Ron Logan) served for many years as pastors in the denomination and provided wonderful models of godly, faithful pastoral leadership. Wally and his wife, Mary, celebrated 42 years of marriage this past May. Although they were unable to have children of their own, they have hosted fifteen young adults in their home and consider them their “adopted children”.
